Royal Funeral Homes is a reputable funeral services company established in April 2015 with the objective of providing compassionate, dignified, and professional services to families during some of life’s most difficult moments. Branch Supervisor jobs in Uganda are currently open across several of our locations. We are seeking dedicated and experienced Branch Supervisors to oversee the day-to-day operations of our branches and ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
The Branch Supervisors will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily operations and administration of the branch.
- Ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, dignity, compassion, and customer care.
- Managing and supervising branch staff, including scheduling, performance management, training, and staff development.
- Coordinating funeral arrangements and ensuring services are delivered efficiently and according to clients’ wishes.
- Maintaining strong relationships with bereaved families, clients, suppliers, hospitals, religious institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensuring all branch activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, health and safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Managing branch budgets, expenses, cash handling, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Monitoring sales and business performance and implementing strategies to achieve branch targets.
- Maintaining accurate records relating to clients, funeral arrangements, stock, vehicles, equipment, and finances.
- Ensuring vehicles, facilities, equipment, and other branch assets are properly maintained and used responsibly.
- Handling customer concerns and resolving complaints professionally and promptly.
- Preparing regular operational and performance reports for management.
- Identifying opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and business growth.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant management or supervisory experience, hospitality, healthcare, customer service, or a related service industry.
- Proven experience managing staff and day-to-day business operations.
- Strong financial, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and emotionally difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Good customer-service and relationship-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business management systems.
- A valid driving licence is an added advantage.
